Doukan 7002 is an open space for artistic experimentation and social engagement. Located in the storefront at 7002 North California in West Ridge/West Rogers Park, the site hosts programs including Window-in-Residency, an installation and performance space available to artists for temporary projects and Kenana, a social art practice residency program for emerging artists in Chicago.

Meredith Winer, who I know from a past residency, is starting her own now. To get things started she is assembling a fundraising exhibition from October 2nd to 30th, 2010 in Logan Square. More news to come.
